We, as the proud residents of Vasai, have always been quite fond of the vibrant folk songs, be it in our weddings or any type of get-togethers. A ‘Ghumat’ and a plethora of such tunes is all we need to rock the night up! A lot of times, certain folk songs tell of a history or an accomplishment. Same with folklore, which tells stories of cultural beliefs and customs. There are many such rich and euphonic tunes form other folklores and cultures such as Gujarat, Rajasthan, South Indian and many more. We intent to bring these wonderful tunes to limelight by arranging a live musical evening. Harnessing the beauty of all the wonderful folk songs from various cultures (Including our own) and fusing it with a modern live instrumental and vocal touch.
